JavaScript.\nIt’s implemented as a state machine that emits concrete tokens, so that every\nbyte is accounted for, with positional info.\nIt then compiles those tokens directly to HTML, but other (`string`).\n\n### `stream(options?)`\n\nCreate a duplex (readable and writable) stream.\n\nSome of the work to parse markdown can be done streaming, but in the\nend buffering is required.\n\nmicromark does not handle errors for you, so you must handle errors on whatever\nstreams you pipe into it.\nAs markdown does not know errors, `micromark` itself does not emit errors.\n\n###### Parameters\n\n* `options` ([`Options`][api-options], optional)\n  — configuration\n\n###### Returns\n\nDuplex stream.\n\n### `Options`\n\nConfiguration (TypeScript type).\n\n##### protocols in links and images (`boolean`, default:\n`false`).\n\nThe default is `false`, which drops URLs in links and images that use dangerous\nprotocols.\n\nPass `true` for trusted content to support all protocols.\n\nURLs that have no protocol (which means it’s relative to the current page, such\nas `./some/page.html`) and URLs that have a safe protocol (for images: `http`,\n`https`; for links: `http`, `https`, `irc`, `ircs`, `mailto`, `xmpp`), are\nsafe.\nAll other URLs are dangerous and dropped.\nSee [§ Security][security].\n\n###### `defaultLineEnding`\n\nDefault line ending to use when compiling to HTML, for line endings not in\n`value` (`'\\r'`, `'\\n'`, or `'\\r\\n'`; default: first line ending or `'\\n'`).\n\nGenerally, `micromark` copies line endings (`\\r`, `\\n`, `\\r\\n`) in the markdown\ndocument over to the compiled HTML.\nIn some cases, such as `> a`, CommonMark requires that extra line endings are\nadded: `<blockquote>\\n<p>a</p>\\n</blockquote>`.\n\nTo create that line ending, the document is checked for the first line ending\nthat is used.\nIf there is no line ending, `defaultLineEnding` is used.\nIf that isn’t configured, `\\n` is used.\n\n######
